In 2020, Cotton On founder Nigel Austin opened the COG Wellness Centre in Geelong, designed to support the health and well-being of Cotton On staff. Before launching the centre, it was essential to create an environment that embodied the core values of health, wellness, and nature, ensuring that the space reflected the holistic vision behind it.
Opportunity
Focusing on three core themes—zen, the human body, and nature—we created abstract artwork that resonated with each category, seamlessly blending with the interior design color palette. The abstract approach was intentional, aiming to avoid anything too literal or overwhelming for newcomers who may still be exploring wellness as a lifestyle. Wellness is a deeply personal journey, and by ensuring the environment feels comfortable and inviting, we encouraged a sense of ease and familiarity, making it more likely that individuals would return.
